My Approach
Finding the Voice
I love figuring out what makes brands sound like themselves, whether that means leaning into humour, softening things, or crafting an elite subject line/emoji combo. A lot of my process starts with research, understanding who the audience actually is, how they speak, and what they respond to, followed by some good ol’ fashioned pen-and-paper brainstorming until the perfect voice starts to click into place.
Wearing a Lot of Hats
Most of my background is in in-house creative work, where being adaptable is part of the job. I’ve worked across websites, emails, social media, blogs, branding, illustration, product copy, and the occasional very specific sofa-related emergency.
